Evie is a Senior at St. John's School in Houston, TX She is passionate about closing the gender gap in chess and is involved in multiple research projects addressing this disparity. She is a competitive chess player ranked #22 on the Top 100 rating for Girls Aged 17 aiming for her national title.
Goal: to increase participation of girls in chess.

Nicholas is a Junior at St. John's School in Houston, TX. He is involved in community service activities and is in charge of global outreach initiatives. He is currently working toward his Eagle Scout rank and volunteers at the Harris County Public Defender's Office.
Goal: to help boys at risk find a powerful outlet for life in chess.
